Refund policy
COVID-19 notice:
Shipping providers in Canada and around the word are facing unprecedented volumes. This is out of our control, and we ask all customers to keep this in mind. Once the postal service is in possession of the shipment, we cannot intervene. All customers are reminded that delivery times may be lengthened because of the worldwide pandemic.
Returns
Customers must contact us before initiating a return. Customers must contact us within 5 days of receiving the item.
Our return shipping policy lasts 15 days upon delivery. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. No exchanges for online purchases.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Costs of original shipping on your purchase are non-refundable.
USA and international customers: Please confirm with your local postal service that you are using a service that will not incur any customs charges or brokerage charges at the border. If any additional charges are incurred, they will be deducted from your refund. If said charges exceed the value of the item, they will be charged to your original payment method. USA customers are asked to avoid return shipping with UPS.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service to send back your items. If you use an untracked shipping method, We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges on damaged or defective merchandise:
Important notice: If item is damaged in shipping, please keep the original packing materials, and contact us with photos of this, so we may alert the shipping provider.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at josephineclarketextiles@gmail.com and send your item to: 6 Northside Passage Road, West Arichat, Nova Scotia, B0E3J0 Canada.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
